  • The Wild Robot

    Funded Oct 4, 2024

Thank you so much for helping me with funding for my classroom project. My students were super excited to receive the materials to begin our project. The students couldn't wait to get started.

Once we received our materials, each student was overjoyed to dive into reading. Students use morning choice time and spare time to read ahead to the next chapter. We are still working on completing the story along with the activities for each chapter. We are looking forward to completing the book and the remainder of the activities once we return from Christmas break.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Fecat

  • Phonetic Fun

    Funded May 8, 2024

Thank you so much for funding my phonetic project.

Phonics is important for learning to read because it helps children learn how to match the sounds of spoken language to letters and groups of letters. This helps children decode words as they read and know which letters to use when they write.

My students were super excited to work with some new hands-on materials. These centers are so much more fun than your basic worksheet. I've been pulling out the different activities as we build upon on our phonics skills. My students look forward to the stations with every new unit.

Thank you again for putting these phonetic centers into my students' hands.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Fecat

  • Mastering Phonics

    Funded Aug 25, 2023

Thank you so much for choosing to donate to my classroom. My students and I are very appreciative of your support. Your donation was used to purchase the Phonics Instant Learning Centers - Complete Set, from Lakeshore Learning.

Students have been using this kit to explore vowel sounds, decode 2-syllable words, and master prefixes and suffixes. The six ready-to-use learning centers have helped children review previously taught material as well as building skills independently.

Thank you again for funding my project. We will use these materials for years to come.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Fecat

  • Independent Learners

    Funded Feb 22, 2023

Thank you so much for helping to fully fund my project. Thanks to your donations, I was able to purchase several activities from my Teachers Pay Teachers account that I wouldn't have been able to afford.

Your donations helped purchase task cards of various standards and subjects. These task cards are engaging and the perfect addition to our morning choice time and centers.

Last years students and well as my current class were both eager to get started on these individualized task cards. The QR task cards are by far the biggest hit with my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Fecat

  • Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you so much for donating to my classroom. Thanks to your donations, I was able to purchase several literacy activities through Lakeshore Learning.

These educational materials are the perfect hands on activities to help bridge the gap with my students. My students last year as well as my current student were eager to engage in these activities.

I firmly believe that learning should be as fun and as engaging as possible. These reading games are the perfect addition to our morning choice time.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Fecat

  • Summer Skills Practice

    Funded Aug 10, 2022

Thank you so much for your gracious contribution to my classroom. Thanks to your donation, I was able to purchase two year-round sets of QR task cards from Teachers Pay Teachers. These bundles cover a variety of math and English standards that greatly help assist with student learning. Each month the task cards increase in rigor while also reviewing previous skills. These task cards have been great for my early finishers. My early finishers are able to get a spiral review for both language arts and math skills independently.

    Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

  • Mrs. F’s Escape Room

    Funded Nov 25, 2021

Thank you so much for funding my Escape Room project. I was able to purchase both the reading and math bundles.

Reading mysteries are a fun way to incorporate a range of ELA skills in one.

Students will be required to read the story passages and complete activities to discover clues. - Students must highlight the evidence in the reading text to prove their answers. Each clue requires students to critically think to decide which suspects they can eliminate as being the culprit. There are five clues to crack in every case!

The Math mysteries work the same way. Students so look forward to completing these activities. We usually complete one of these mystery escape rooms each Friday. Thank you again for funding this project. My students and I truly appreciate your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Fecat

  • STEM stations on the GO

    Funded Mar 28, 2021

Thank you so much for funding my project! I was able to purchase an entire grade level STEM kit for my 2nd graders. My class loves a challenge and that is exactly what these kits provide.

My class was so excited to see all of the new materials when they returned from spring break. Many asked if the Easter Bunny dropped them off. We have been using some of the kits in replace of morning work. The students arrive to school and pick a STEM station they would like to work at and get busy. This really helps set the tone for the day because they are excited about school and learning.

I plan on having an entire STEM challenge day next week. These kits keeps the students actively engaged through hands on learning. I will definitely continue to use these kits for years to come. Thanks again!”
