With all the challenges and changes this year, one thing has stayed the same...my students' love for learning. An iPad in our classroom will allow for me to be innovative with using technology in the classroom and in the instruction I provide for my students. Students will benefit from this iPad as I will be able to teach from the iPad during class through the SmartBoard we currently have in class. Students will also be able to work with me on the iPad as we work through lessons together. The amount of things that can be done with an iPad in the classroom is infinite! Digital learning with an iPad will excel in 21st-century skills and digital literacy for all students in my classroom. For in-person learning, an iPad can be used during small groups of differentiated learning, as an extension of our SmartBoard for teaching around the room, and independent exploration for my students. For remote learning, an iPad can help me give virtual lessons and instruction to my students. The possibilities are endless. Quality color printing is also a key asset in my classroom. This printer can be used to create interactive visual aids for use in the classroom, which helps me communicate complex concepts to my students. I will also take advantage of color in classroom with handouts, games, activity posters and calendars, and now to give my families visual aids in guiding them through at-home-learning. The sky's the limit when it comes to the visual materials I will use in a color setting. I am excited to us this printer for at-home-learning visual aids.
