Now more than ever, students need multiple avenues to learn math concepts. The manipulatives I have requested will help students do just that by allowing students to explore math with a more hands-on experience. The students in my class know limited English, but the great thing about manipulatives is that students can learn how to use them no matter what language they speak. These items will help students build a stronger number sense that will then be applied to all the other math concepts to follow throughout their educational career!
