The materials I am requesting include individual headphones for each student, dry erase whiteboard sleeves, expo markers, white board erasers, and pencils. These individualized materials will be beneficial to limit the spread of germs once back inside the classroom. These materials will be used to support learning at home and in the classroom. The individual headphones will be essential to help students focus in a remote learning model, as many students live in households with siblings and other family members. Less distractions = more learning! In school, these headphones will be with the students in a small group setting, (or centers), and for independent math/reading on a computer. The dry erase pocket sleeves will be helpful for instruction both online and in the classroom. They are used for phonics, math, writing, and literacy practice. This will allow for interchangeable worksheets inside these pockets, and are easily accessible for students. Students will have their own supplies both at home and in school for a safer and cleaner learning environment. Finally, I am requesting a classroom iPad. This will be a great addition to our classroom to foster learning in small groups, while tying in technology to enhance and engage learning. It will allow for many dimensions to my instruction while simultaneously adding in some flexibility for students' needs. Thank you for helping us be prepared for learning in these uncertain times!
