  • Coloring Outside the Lines

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

Thank you immensely for your generosity and for providing these materials to my classroom. I know they will LOVE using these and expressing themselves through art. I am excited to implement them with our curriculum and help them to learn in multiple ways and give them the opportunity to use different mediums.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stallings

  • Colored Collaboration

    Funded Dec 30, 2023

Thank you do contributing to this project. It means a lot, especially since it is materials I couldn't afford for my class by myself.

These materials have made them MUCH more excited about group projects and completing the tasks and assignments given. (Who doesn't love the smell of fruit as they draw the savanna or write about the rainforest?) It's amazing how a simple change in materials can reengage learners and turn a mundane thing into a new experience.

We have also loved using the highlighters as we research and annotate!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stallings

  • Classroom Essentials

    Funded May 10, 2023

The project has been fully funded and I am so excited to use these materials with my class. Thank you so much for supporting me and my kids and donating to my project! It shows me who donated and I hope you know how much I love you all! Thank you so much, truly.”

  • Back to Learning!

    Funded Aug 10, 2022

Thank you so much for donating towards this project. I have seen a great improvement from the scores of my students based on the beginning of the year to the middle of the year. I know a large part of this was due to the more hands on and interactive approach to phonics that some of the materials has provided. I have noticed students being more engaged in our learning. From this project, I have been able to set up a calming bucket in my classroom that enables students who are feeling anxious or overwhelmed to pick a calming strategy to put into place and practice it. I am so grateful for the materials that enable this! Thanks you!”

  • Supplies for Second Grade Happiness!

    Funded Jan 19, 2022

Thank you so much for your generosity and the support that you showed my students and I. The materials were so helpful in enabling me to make games, cards, word sorts, word lists, and more to help them with their phonics and reading skills! Our practicum student did an activity everyday for a month with these kids using these materials. They also worked SO hard in earning fake money that was used for our end of year auction. Many of those materials were from this project! They loved them! I especially appreciated the way that I was able to incorporate more art into our classroom with the use of new materials. We created a "northern lights" image using the chalk. I was able to help my OT students with handwriting and practice correct letter formation. I am so grateful for everything that was included and funded in this! It has helped us out so much!

Thank you! I hope you know how much this all means and how helpful it is.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stallings

My class (even my struggling readers) have taken a HUGE interest in graphic novels this year. These are books that are like chapter books--which are the coolest--but are also readable and decodable with the aid of pictures. I am hoping to encourage my students to read even more and develop a love for reading. There are books about emotions that help kids better understand how they're feeling and appropriate reactions. I also have included art supplies as I believe that expressing themselves in art is super important and building for students. I love their ability for them to show their ideas and creativity in there projects! Lastly, there is a cart that I intend to use to help students be more responsible for their own learning as they find the work they need, pick their own activities on their level, and make sure their work is completed! Thank you for supporting my kiddos!!!
