Thank you to everyone that supported me and my class. Teacher pay teacher is a great resource to help both my online and in person students during this difficult year. I look forward to finding some amazing resources and sharing creative ideas. We will make it through this year together.”

  • Elliot Needs A New House

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

Thank you for helping me bring animals and science into my classroom. My students have heard so much about Elliot and now they will get to experience him first hand. Learning about ecosystems and the food chain will be exciting for my students while they witness it live in our classroom.”

    Mrs. Pulido

  • Books Open New Worlds

    Funded Oct 26, 2020

Thank you so much for the donations to my classroom library. I am amazed at how generous people have been. My students will love coming to school and seeing the new books. This is just in time for the move to a hybrid model.

Thank you again for all the kindness.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Pulido

At the end of the last school year, I purchased a class pet for students to enjoy and learn from. He was a baby bearded dragon at the time and we decided to name him Elliot. Bearded dragons are used in the book Holes, which is part of our curriculum, and students became fascinated by the animal. He also helped students learn about responsibility while caring for him and life science and the food chain. He has since doubled in size and will continue to grow for the next few months. He is now crowded in his cage and in need of a new cage to help him live and grow to be a healthy adult. Even though students are learning from a distance, Elliot has already been a part of this class's school year. He sits in on video meetings and his photo makes an appearance on documents sent to the students. In order for Elliot to be healthy and ready to greet the students when they arrive back in the classroom, he needs a new home.
