The majority of my students are English language learners and are reading below grade level. All of these books have been chosen with them in mind which will allow them the practice they need to build their reading skills. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of texts that will allow them to read independently at their level. They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students become stronger readers. I want my students to continue their efforts in building their literacy skills so I would also like to provide them with incentives like sweet treats to encourage them on their journey.

About my class
