Alphabet Masters
Funded Dec 3, 2024Thank you so much for the alphabet materials and games! My students are excited to play games that help them with letter knowledge. When they saw our new alphabet games they were thrilled. Engagement during stations time has gone way up! And our class wide data has gone from 30% of students on grade level or above (state wide reading assessment) to 93% of our class being at grade level or above! Our work around letter knowledge is a direct correlation to this growth. Thank you for being part of it!”

Funded Nov 11, 2024My students are so excited by our new felt board stations! They get to use the different sets to retell stories we have discussed in class or non-fiction themes we have learned about. Thanks to you I have many sets for each unit so the station remains exciting and relevant to our thematic learning.
As I walk by the station I hear students using vocabulary we learned as a whole class with their partner. Our farms unit taught students about crops and products that come from animals. Through playing with the felt sets they were able to talk about those concepts and solidify them to their learning!
Thank you so much for our gift of learning through play!”

Funded Oct 31, 2024My students were thrilled to see our new blocks cart when they walked in. For months now we have been dealing with a box that is too heavy to move around and too deep to get to some of the good blocks.
Now we have an amazing system where the kids can roll the blocks in and out of storage when we need them. It makes clean up time way easy and play time more fun for them. Our class set of clip boards is our other big excitement item. Kids feel so grown up writing on paper with a clip board. It is also helpful for me so I can have students join me in a large group on the rug for writing practice.
All of the items are being used and are very appreciated! Thank you so much for donating to our classroom!”

Funded Aug 14, 2024My students are so fortunate to have the materials to start our day with joy and creativity. Each month I add new materials to the art cart and a majority of the class chooses this cart for their morning activity. Many students have been building structures with popsicle sticks and pipe cleaner. This month they have also been enjoying the various tapes and creating structures or visual art with them.
This is by far the most favorite activity of our morning and it's really fun to see what the class comes up with. Each time I put something new on the cart the whole class starts buzzing about it and next thing you know everyone is making something with our art cart materials. Thank you for supporting us so that we can have access to this kind of creativity!”

Funded Dec 20, 2022Thank you so much for our amazing new flexible seating options!! The kids were beyond excited when they saw them in the morning. We have had to make some rules about how to take turns with them while they are still new and such a hit.
The students have been using them at reading time and at times where we spread out to work independently. They love the options these seats provide. They can sit up or lay it flat to make a nice cushion to lay their tummy on. It helps them feel comfortable so they can concentrate and it helps them all as we think about ways our individual bodies work and learn best. The students will say things like, "this seat is a good learning choice for me because I can work on the floor. I like to work on the floor and it's comfortable for my body so it helps me when I'm working."
Thank you very much!! Our class of kindergarten students really appreciate this gift you've given us!!”
