This school year is beginning unlike any other these students have experienced before, learning remotely from their homes. Having access to educational materials such as a math tool kit filled with manipulatives, headphones with microphones, and self-regulation tools will ensure my students virtual learning experience to be as successful as possible! Their math tool kits will support our virtual math lessons, allowing students to experience more hands on math as they would have in the classroom. Age-appropriate headphones will not only help my students stay focused at home, but also stay engaged during our virtual lessons. Students are experiencing enough uncertainty in 2020 and need guidance on how to maneuver through their emotions. Self-regulation tools like stress balls will allow my students to practice calm-down strategies we discuss throughout virtual learning.
