The science kits and equipment will allow my students to see the concepts we have been learning about in our environmental science class. Students will be able to "do" science. Getting into the lab and being able to see the concepts helps students have a real understanding of the topics. This will help my students get excited about science and will ignite a desire to work towards a STEM career. We need more minority students in STEM careers. I have found the best way to get students excited about science is to get them in the lab and have them become an active part of their education.

About my class
