Back to school this year will begin at home. Schools are closed due to COVID-19. These tools and materials will allow my second grade mathematicians to work through math problems as they begin to develop ideas and concepts of financial literacy. In our zoom math lessons, I will be able to project real world math problems around spending and saving money while my students apply math operations to solve these problems. The stylist pens also allow the students another tool to manipulate math problems on their Chromebooks. Learning about spending and saving money will be more engaging with these hands on tools. Many thanks for helping my mathematicians manage money!
