I have chosen materials that my in-person and distance learners can both use to make our new way of doing school more fun and engaging. In my classroom, desks now need to be placed in rows, six feet apart. This is very different from the way I am used to teaching and kids are used to learning. My classroom has no air conditioning and gets very hot during the first few weeks of school. Students and teachers will be required to wear masks inside. I am very interested in taking my class outside to learn because if they are distanced outside, they can remove their masks. I added a cart, easel white board, book bins and white board clipboards for this purpose. If I have students learning at home, I will fill the book bin with their supplies to use at home to make them feel more included. The rest of the materials are to make my indoor classroom safer such as the pencil distributor and spot markers. Thank you for considering my project!
