These materials will be used to kickstart, inspire, and sustain independent reading for students who are struggling readers. The readers will use the books during daily Independent Reading time and for the students to take home and read for homework. The books will be used to create and sustain a community of readers who will become excited about reading! The books will be used for book clubs. The fluency reader's theater packs will be used for the students to practice reading to each other on a level where they can feel successful. I am looking forward to seeing the excitement in the students faces when the books arrive.
