As a second year teacher, I am still working hard on creating a classroom full of resources to encourage learning and academic performance for my students. This project will bring many fun and exciting new things to my classroom that will excite the students, ultimately improving their attendance and academic performance. As an early childhood classroom setting, we learn a lot by participating in hands-on activities. The builders and manipulatives listed on my project will encourage active learning and imagination for my students. Because our class is a special education classroom, there are many sensory issues that my students face daily. The sensory items will assist in calming and making my students feel comfortable in my classroom. All of the items on my project will excite the children, and make them excited to learn when they enter my classroom!
