Some of the items I have chosen are to help students feel that my classroom is their safe space. I want all students to feel accepted in my classroom, so I have chosen a poster to help them feel this way. A lot of the items are chosen just to help keep the classroom organized and functional. We need items like paper and tape just to function. I have also chosen items for basic needs of the students such as pencils and folders. Many students are unable to supply these items themselves. And finally, I have requested a subscription to a supplemental magazine so they can read about the real world and relatable events.
