The study of art offer opportunities for children to develop critical thinking, time management and problem solving skills! It provides a deeper understanding of the world around us through art history and cultural studies. Watercolor sets are a crucial material for my students to have in their work from home toolbox! Having individual watercolor sets will make it possible to teach color theory and painting techniques virtually! My students will study the elements and principles of design and find inspiration for for their own creative process as they look at the work of famous artists and the arts/crafts of different cultures. Children are living in unprecedented times and are experiencing so many emotional and physical challenges. I want my art room (whether in person or virtual) to be a place where children learn and explore, but also a place where they are free to express themselves and release stress! Thank you for helping me, make creative exploration possible!
