With the requested materials we hope to create a safe and comfortable learning environment for our students. Due to the pandemic we are having to rely mostly on the use of technology and personal protective equipment to deliver instruction. There is a lot of feelings of uncertainty and anxiety that our students may have about returning to the classroom for face to face instruction. In our classroom we usually have a shared supply center where students are able to borrow supplies that they do not have. Our goal is also to make sure that our students are equipped with the materials that they need and are not afraid to return to school when the time comes. These materials will allow us to provide each student with their own set of supplies which will help to reduce shared contact between supplies and promote social distancing within the classroom. The health, safety and overall well-being of our students is a top priority. The items purchased will help us to provide a safer learning environment for our students and hopefully help to reduce their anxious feelings of returning to school.
