As we start the school year remotely, I want to have the tools to connect with my students and support them more than I could in the spring. A document camera will allow me to read familiar picture books and save valuable time adapting paper materials to be used digitally. Having access to an iPad and Osmo digital learning will allow me to individualize what I am providing to my students and make remote learning more fun and engaging with low and high tech options. It may not be an ideal situation to start the school year, but I want to prepare any way that I can to support a smooth transition for my elementary school caseload.
