  • Math Manipulatives

    Funded Aug 15, 2023

    Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and our future generations. My students and I were so excited to see all of the math manipulatives in the boxes. They immediately said "Hey! That's what those look like!" They were talking about place value blocks. They had only seen them on the screen from videos. Now they get to put them in their hands. This has greatly impacted their learning and understanding of place values. They also now get what it means to "borrow" in subtraction by getting to use the manipulatives and change out groups of ten for ten ones. I can't wait to teach fractions with the new fraction tiles. My students are going to have several ah-ha moments and it is all because this project was funded. Thank you!!”

  • Taking Our Reading Experience to a New Level!

    Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and contributing to my students' reading careers.

    I have already used most of these books in the last two weeks and my students LOVE them! We have done an author study about Chris Van Allsburg, completed graphic organizers about our predictions and most importantly, learned about being a better human.

    A lot of students don't realize that other kids in the same room are also going through similar situations. A lot of times, kids feel lonely because they don't think they can talk about their life for fear of judgment. Many times, a book is the doorway to those tough conversations.

    With books, I get to create a bond with my students that will never be forgotten. Thank you for helping make that happen.”
