A Pencil Today Will Keep Students Working Everyday!
Funded Nov 7, 2023My students and I are so thankful for your generosity towards our project "A Pencil Today Will Keep Students Working Everyday".
When my students do not have a pencil from home, they know that we now have available in the classroom, because of your kindness. Your generosity keeps students engaged and working towards their academic goals. They are now doing the math because of you.
They were very excited to know that you care. Once again, thank you for your kindness and support. We appreciate you!”

Pi Socks for Pi Day!
Funded Mar 3, 2022The project was for my 7th grade students in special classes (mostly students with learning disabilities). Our unit of work was on area and circumference of circles. Students need lots of visuals and reminders, so on March 14 (Pi Day) they were happy to wear their pi socks, and show them off to the school community. Most of the students wore their socks above their pants so that it could be visible to all.
While showing off their socks, other students would ask them what the symbol means, and they got the opportunity to share their knowledge about using pi. Students continued to wear their socks throughout the year and would always let me know when they have them on.
My students and I are extremely grateful to the donors who made our project a reality.”
With gratitude,
Ms. PRospere
