As future leaders in a ever changing world and social dynamic, our students need equitable access to books that tell the stories of people like them. The funding of these books will allow for our Middle and High School students to engage in conversations about the social constructs of our society: increasing both motivation to read and engagement with books. Students will explore topics such as Social Justice, Civil Rights, Equality, Immigration and more and learn to become Community activists. Whether in person or virtual, students will be given a rewarding educational experience that will instill in them the tools needed to become change agents.
