Students will see the work of artist Angelica Dass, who took 4,000 portraits to show the range of human skin color - and the results exceeded the Pantone Library. "I am sure nobody is 'black', and absolutely nobody is 'white', said Dass. Her work is featured in National Geographic. We'll read inclusive books about skin colors. We'll read the books "The Skin You Live In", "Sulwe", "Shades of People", and the "Color of Us". We'll talk about skin tones in a non-judgemental way. Artists will be asked to create a self-portrait with their multicultural drawing tools.
