Having a diverse population of students comes with its challenges in the aspect of literature available. Oftentimes, students feel a disconnect from what is being read to them and what they would like to read on their own based on what the material is about. My goal is to provide opportunity to bridge that gap by creating an inclusive classroom library for every like and need. Through your help, I will be able to extend my collection of books to include those that are in different languages and written by authors who are not of a predominately white or male background. It is important for students to see that their own options in life are limitless through the success and writings of others.
