The students have requested fluorescent light covers, as they feel it adds to a calming atmosphere. It will also help students with headaches that are sensitive to the light. The giant timer will allow students to be more self-accountable for their learning, as it will help them use their time effectively, and will help ease their anxiety on timed assignments since the can be seen from all locations, even the back of the classroom. The clipboards will help students work more easily when we decide to have classroom outside or activities where we are in motion. The giant magnetic graph chart will allow students to learn about coordinate graphing, graphing functions, and geometric transformations more effectively. This list of materials is actually inspired by my students' suggestions. The materials I am requesting will add so much to the classroom and help my students feel heard!
