The products that I have chosen will assist students to develop critical thinking skills. For example, using K'Nex, students look at a picture and then use the materials to replicate the image. Students also will develop problem-solving skills and spatial awareness. Students also use their creativity to build new types of transportation. Let their creativity flow! By giving students of a variety of colors to choose from, they will be able to paint many different scenes while in the art center. It also gives students a foundation for decision making skills which is a valuable tool in life. Painting also increase hand and eye coordination which is an extremely important skill at this age.
