This project, with the color-changing light table and manipulatives to use with it, will give my students the sensory input they seek, allowing them to focus and actively engage in a variety of learning tasks. While other items in this project will target using the light table to help students learn math and ELA skills in a hands-on way, the motivation to use this table will allow for countless opportunities to increase each student's functional communication. When learning a language and how to communicate, nothing is more important than motivation.

About my class
