These books would help build upon the much beloved books that are part of our class library. My school has a rate in which 70% of the students receive free or reduced lunch. Parents do not have the money to spend on books as they are struggling to make ends meet. Students have limited access to books given our current situation. My students love opening their book bags so that they can enjoy new and engaging stories. "The books transported her into new worlds and introduced her to amazing people who lived exciting lives." Matilda by Roald Dahl Having a variety of enriching books is fundamental to learning. The books will allow them to continue their love of reading and build their academic literacy skills. By donating to this project you will be benefiting students who need more diverse books.
