Hi! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my page. I teach Intensive Reading to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. What does that mean you might wonder? These students need help in order to become proficient readers and it is my job to make sure that happens! My students are from diverse backgrounds and have diverse learning needs. Many of them are eligible for special education services. Some of them are second language learners, and more than half are from low-income households. Many students come to class without the necessary basic supplies needed to learn and it is important to me to ensure that all my students have a safe, engaging learning environment with equal access to learning and quality materials. Thank you for supporting my students as they strive to become better readers and better leaders!
