Sticking to It Part 2
Funded Feb 12, 2023Hello everyone!! Just an update on how the cricut and extra supplies are helping our classroom. It has helped so many students design their books and take the "I am not an Artist" out of their mind. The poetry books came out great. Please check out all the pictures attached. This is not the end to your amazing donation. We will continue to use this machine and supplies to decorate our room and use it year after year for this project. We will always need more supplies but you defiantly got us to a great start. Thank you again for your generosity.”

Students Sticking to it!
Funded Jan 27, 2023Hello everyone!! Just an update on how the cricut is helping our classroom. To e honest we were overwhelmed with such an amazing machine, but soon we got use to it. Funded Dec 30, 2021This is seriously one of my favorite projects of the year. This year I wanted to do more, and your generosity made it happen. With your donation, we were able to gift 75 students with a Christmas present. Each kindergarten student received a Christmas fairytale book created by my honors sophomore class. They were over the top excited and my students were elated to share their stories. The best gift you can give someone is something you created yourself. It was really an amazing experience all around. Thank you so very much for supporting our classroom.”

Got Milk??
Funded Nov 11, 2021This has probably made the biggest difference in my classroom. We started the school year by getting free breakfast and lunch. Although serving free lunches was a breeze, breakfast seemed to be a challenge because the students were embarrassed to take one on the way into school. I decided to take this matter in my own hands and grab a breakfast for each student in my homeroom.
The problem arrived when not all students were interested, yet my next two classes were excited to have a snack in the first few minutes of class. The drinks though were getting warm, and they weren't drinking them. I needed a refrigerator to keep them cold.
With your help, my students are now having breakfast and drinks through out the day. It only makes sense that students learn better when they aren't thinking about their hunger. Thank you so much for being so kind. My students are extremely grateful.”

Green Zone
Funded Jul 23, 2021I can not put into words the smile you have put on my students' faces. I expressed to them that it is a gift from donors, and they were overwhelmed with gratitude. Being able to listen to their Chromebook without disturbing others has been a great help to the classroom. With your donation, I have been able to supply all my classes with a new pair of headphones. I really encourage you to continue thinking of what school districts are going through and realize that your donations, big or small, are a huge help to making each student learn the way they were meant to be educated.”

Funded Dec 9, 2020I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am that you decided to help me make teaching easier through these difficult times. Not knowing if I will be in my classroom , at home, hybrid, or virtual makes teaching a little challenging. With the devices you have donated, I am able to make the transition a little easier.
First, I am able to carry my equipment safely back and forth from home to school and back home again with out worrying that I will damage my Mac. The cost of technology is more than schools can afford, yet we are still expected to make sure our students are succeeding, and the best way to teach is with the newest technology.
Secondly with this new speaker, I am able to hear the students clearly when virtual, and the students can hear the videos from way in the back of the room when they are in the class. What a difference it makes when you can actually hear what is being said.
Lastly, The DVD player is a must. With new technology today, DVDs have become a thing of the past, but teachers still use them to share the classics. In order to have the best technology, it requires multiple parts. Thank you again for seeing the importance of this gift.”
