My students are in 1st-5th grades, all on the Autism spectrum, have limited communication abilities, are learning social rules and norms, require high sensory diets and have a huge piece of my heart. Despite their many challenges, they smile at me day to day, allow me to guide them, trust me to support them and be there for them through some very tough times. We begin each day with a smile and a hug and work through their struggles together. They prove to me everyday that anyone can learn, anyone can succeed and that this world is better with grace, kindness and above all acceptance.

About my class
