  • Hybrid Classroom Supplies

    I cannot thank you enough from the bottom of my heart for your donation to my Hybrid Classroom project. My students have been able to keep their computers charged daily with the power strips in the classroom. My room is also used for testing and they definitely came in handy for that. The cart is perfect to roll all of my cleaning supplies around in between classes to clean the desks and make sure that everyone is safe.,

    My Health class has tremendously benefited from the TPT gift card. I have been able to use this for various lessons. This is so helpful considering my students are hybrid so all assignments have to be posted on Google Classroom. We were able to complete a personality project together as a class using resources from TPT and I truly felt that all of the students (in person and virtual) got a lot out of the project.

    My students were so excited to see the new additions to our classroom. When I explained to them that it was acquired through Donors Choose donations, they were very humbled. One student asked "Even people who don't know you or us donated?" They were extremely grateful that people thought so much about their education..even in this time of the pandemic.”

Our learning this year will be like no other year before. We will have some students learning exclusively from home in a virtual model as well as hybrid students that will learn in class two days a week and virtually three days a week. These products will help my students charge their laptops in class, keep COVID-19 supplies organized and easier to access, and will allow for more engaging lessons for distance learning. The Teachers Pay Teachers site allows educators to use other teacher's ideas to develop their own model of teaching. My classes are PE and Health classes that are limited to a classroom. They cannot dress out for PE nor at this time can they use any PE equipment. Students will need to change their way of thinking about Physical Education and use the most innovative virtual resources available.
