Using an asynchronous or synchronous virtual lesson with a self-guided passing chart for cues, students will master hand/eye coordination skills component. They will be using the ball to perform a series of skills including underhand toss, overhand throw, one and two hand catching and passing. Each student will perform the skill using their own ball in a individualized setting, using a self-toss or catch technique. The ball is important in that it provides a real life experience of the actual skill which would be impossible without the equipment. Students are more likely to master the skill with repeated trials with an actual ball.
