Following the COVID-19 outbreak, schools across the country are making several changes to support a learning environment for the students returning this fall. My classroom needs 20 individual desks in order to provide a safer return to school for the students. My current furniture consists of tables which are five feet in length. This presents a potential hardship for accommodating the recommended 6 feet of personal space for the health benefits of both the students and staff. These desks would eliminate the hardship caused due to COVID-19 as well as provide a safer academic environment for our students as they return.
