Pandemic Pick-Me-Up!
Funded Feb 14, 2021My students and I have been using all of these great new resouces in so many ways! Lucky for us, the year ended on a high note with us being together in the classroom. My students got to utilize the fun games during small group times. They especially enjoyed playing the math game - shut the box. The letter board helped my most struggling learners to finally support their fine mother skills as well as their academic achievment through letter recognition. This was a big triumph after the lack of time we had together this past year to be consistent with some foundational skills.
Due to Covid-19 last year, and having been in and out of the classroom with the kids, I had a tough time staying organized. With the help of the computer stand, I was able to free up some space on my desk and better organize daily tasks for my students so that we could transtion with ease from one thing to the next.
Because we were able to end the year together, we celebrated with a kindergarten graduation. During their final celebration, I gifted the students your donations of the pens, llamas, and notebpads as a rememberance item of all the fun times we had in kindergarten in our "No Drama Llama" classroom. Something the kids can cherish and take with them as they look towards their next steps into 1st grade.
The kids and were so grateful for your donations and I look forward to using more of these tools as we look to this next school year ahead.”
With gratitude,

Mrs. Brady's "No Drama Llama" Kinder Class!
Funded Aug 17, 2020My students and I have been using all of these great new resouces in so many ways! We started the year in class together, but as time went on we had to transition to virtual learning. My students loved seeing all of the great things you helped us receive towards our classroom this year. They often say, "That is for me?" with so much excitement and huge smiles on their faces. Even the materials we share, like the pencil sharpener, stools, and books have been a huge hit in gaining independence that our kindergarteners so desire!
Because of Covid-19 this year, I had to seperate materials differently and ensure the health and safety of my students came first. Having the crayons and headphones allowed me to do just that. Each child has their own set of crayons, and their own headphones to use as well.
We started the year hybrid, but once we transitioned to virtual learning, having all of these great supplies made it easier to send those supplies home with students. The laminator has also been a great contribution to our class so that I can create re-usable resources for the kids to play games on and share at home with their families for additional learning opportunities!
The kids and are so grateful for your donation and we look forward to using more of these tools as we look towards the second half of the school year!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Brady
