Kindergarten is where children learn to love school. They also learn to respect themselves and others. Typically, I capture and contrive social-emotional learning in our physical classroom through play, exploration, discussion, and "hands-on" activities. This year, my class will start kindergarten virtually. These books and funds will help me guide my students on how to be happy, healthy, and empowered learners despite our remote instruction. I will read the books during our online, morning meetings and reinforce learning with materials/visuals purchased through TpT. Kindergarten is a foundational year. I want to ensure my students are emotionally equipped to be successful throughout their elementary years.
