Amazing Art for All

Thank you so much for your help. Your contribution has made a great impact on the art classroom environment and lessons!

I teach in two different schools. Both art rooms include a safe space for students who are feeling upset and need a little break from the school day. Your contribution helped to supply two wiggly chairs. One chair is in the safe space, while the other has been used for students that have trouble sitting still. Sitting on the chair and wiggling a bit improved many children's moods. Both have caused a happier, warmer climate in the classroom.

The ink and printmaking supplies have been used for printmaking projects which is a passion of mine. It was very fun to share the printmaking passion with the kids. One project shown in the pictures was celebrating autumn leaves. The students printed leaves and made a colorful abstract design around them. They loved it the process of printmaking and blending their oil pastels.

Students worked on a whole school collaboration with the skin tone paint! It is a large paper weaving. One side has skin tones plus gold, while the other has a black background with bright colors. All of the students were so excited to work on this project and were amazed at the end product!
