Rock Scissors Paper ?
Funded Feb 25, 2024Thank you so much for your donations. Our whole school, Kindergarten through 5th grade has benefited from your generous donations.
We've used paper for class assignments, homework, art projects, reader's theater scripts, field trip permission slips, and so much more. The extra paper has been a burden lifted from our shoulders.
Paper- such a seemingly plain object, but without it, we couldn't do what we do best and that is educate our children. Thanks again for your support to Crestwood Elementary.”

Making Lemonade!
Funded Jan 4, 2023My class has loved reading The Lemonade War. Students completed a variety of activities ranging from writing summaries, discussing story elements, and vocabulary enrichment.
My students enjoyed the friendly competition aspect of the story and wanted to even have their own lemonade stands. Even struggling readers enjoyed listening to the story or reading with a friend. A lot of students were able to successfully complete the AR test and earn points for a school incentive.
Thank you so much for your donations to this project.”

Setting Up For Sucess!
Funded Aug 7, 2020What a year this school year has been so far. I am proud to announce that my class and I have stayed healthy and made it all the way to Christmas break without any quarantines! This is such good news that I want to celebrate it!
Your donations helped this year start off great and for that I am so thankful. The headphones have come in super handy with virtual learning days and virtual learning inside the classroom. The playdoh has been an amazing sensory tool to use in the classroom. They love to use it when they need to calm down or have some down time in the room. The magnetic base ten blocks were a hit when it came to demonstrating three digit addition and subtraction and really helped it click with students.
I am so grateful and inspired by the love and support from you all. This is heart work. I come into work every day and pour what I have into these children and you all essentially gave me what I needed to do that. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Perry
