  • Fun, Safe, & Clean Return to Preschool!

    The students were truly grateful for your donations. Fun, Clean, Safe Return is exactly what it said! Coming in to new supplies from you all made the students faces light up! Keeping the room clean has been a big challenge this year and the extra cleaning supplies sent really helped with student desks! The colors of the world markers were a big hit in the art area. They loved being able to use colors that look like them when drawing pictures. The diffuser has helped to create a calm and peaceful environment, especially during nap time. The big favorite in the classroom has been the projector! We have circle time with it everyday and the students love to be able to see things other than me! Being able to have interactive lessons by way of projector has been most helpful and has contributed to the successful learning of the students! The class of room 102 thanks you so much!”

  • Fun and Organized Virtual Learning for Preschoolers!

    Thank you so much for funding this project! Learning in a virtual setting proved to be challenging but very rewarding. As a first year teacher, it was extremely helpful to have these supplies donated to my classroom.

    The highlight of the donations were the materials supplied to create learning binders for each student! The students were able to have a piece of school with them at home. While everyone thought preschool would be the hardest to teach during a pandemic, we proved them wrong. With the learning binders they were able to learn EVERYTHING they needed to know in order to be successful in kindergarten.

    Each binder was hand made and crafted with love and the love started with each of you! From all of us in room 102, THANK YOU!!”

    This classroom project was brought to life by Marks Family Foundation and 2 other donors.
The use of binders will house several reusable activities the students will be able to work on during whole group and small group virtually. It will assist in their hands-on learning. The paint pallets will give each student the ability to freely express themselves during break or free play. The counting bears are a small piece of the activities that are locate in the binder and will be used for mathematical purposes. Ziploc bags will be used to place the counting bears in. The white board will be used by myself in order to demonstrate certain skills for visual learners. Finally, the lamination sheets will be used to ensure every binder for the students remains reusable and durable throughout the virtual learning experience!
