Students need to engage in sport and play, especially now! Physical education has proven to be beneficial, not only to students physical health, but their mental and emotion well-being as well. Although students are now encouraged to maintain a healthy distance from other students in the midst of the current pandemic, removing all sport and play from their school day would be detrimental to their overall health. Bulzibucket is a new game that will allow students to play with one another from a safe distance. Bulzibucket is a versatile game: It can be used outside or within the classroom; It is also accessible for all age groups, as the distance between students and the buckets can be easily adjusted based on grade level to make the game more or less challenging depending on students' ability levels. Students can work as a partners without having to be right next to one another, or they can work independently, focusing on their throwing skills. The game can be used to teach students how to throw underhand, as well as discussing the nature of physics regarding the ball height, arc, and speed when aiming for the various bucket targets. As students progress in their ability to throw the ball accurately, the game provides differentiated levels of challenge with the different sized buckets. Students who begin to accelerate in their throwing abilities can begin to focus on aiming for the smallest bucket target. Introducing students to a game like Bulzibucket will allow them to continue engaging in active play to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Students can also modify the game in order to play at home with regular household items, where they can continue practicing basic throwing and aiming skills outside of school.
