Digital Resources for Remote Learning

Funded Nov 28, 2020

Here's an update on my project...

As predicted...compared to my past 30 years of teaching first grade...this year has truly been a year like no other! Because of the pandemic, my district began our school year with remote learning instruction for all students. Then after several weeks my district switched the elementary school schools to Hybrid Learning with the majority of my students remaining fully remote learners. Then again, after several weeks, our district switched us back to fully remote learning instruction for part of November through the middle of January. Then, once again, we were switched back to Hybrid Learning with again the majority of my students remaining fully remote learners. After a short period of time, cohorts were merged and live streaming instruction began for all remaining fully remote learners. Now as we are rounding the calendar corner towards the end of the school year, the majority of my students have returned to the building for full day, in-person instruction with less than a handful of my students remaining fully remote learning students with my live streaming instruction. As I said earlier...it has been a year like no other!

Because of your generosity, I was able to fulfill my goal to receive funding for the project's requested Teachers Pay Teachers Gift Card. I was able to use your amazing donation to purchase a variety of digital resources and activities that helped further and enrich the learning of all of my students throughout this entire unprecedented year! The already teacher created resources and activities were ready for us to use and my students absolutely LOVED THEM!!!!

Please know that your generous donation greatly assisted me in finding engaging ways to enhance my instruction with numerous resources and activities which greatly benefited each and every student throughout this unprecedented school year.

Heartfelt thanks to you all!!!”

With gratitude,

Mrs. Mozingo
