  • Meet Me at the Art Zen Zone!

    Funded Dec 27, 2023

I am so grateful that this project has been funded! Now more than ever, our students need a safe space where they can process emotions, calm down, or just to take a break. Mindfulness has been connected to creativity and innovation, and our zen zone will encourage just that. Our students will utilize all the items from this project for years to come. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Lampropoulos

  • The Butterfly Clay Project

    Funded Jul 17, 2023

This project is funded! Thank you so much for your contribution to this project, which in turn will impact our students in a positive way! This year we will be creating more butterflies for our installation at our school to commemorate children lost to the Holocaust. The Butterfly Project will be meaningful for our present and future students. These kiln shelves will make it possible! Much appreciated!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Lampropoulos

This classroom project was brought to life by SONIC Foundation and 12 other donors.
  • Amazing Color Sculptures!

    Funded Nov 24, 2020

We did it!!! Thank you so much for all your generous contributions! Our students would really benefit from this project, and I cannot wait to see them smile while creating their sculptures. I am also looking forward to sharing pictures with you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Lampropoulos

  • Face Mask Art

    Funded Oct 29, 2020

We made it! Having this project funded for our students means so much. With your donations, students will now be supplied with another mask, and will use the fabric markers to create unique artwork for their mask.

During this uncertain time, having Art in school is especially important. Art gives students the opportunity to express themselves, have an outlet, build fine motor skills, and to think creatively.

Again, thank you for making a difference for our students, while also supporting the Arts.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Lampropoulos

This classroom project was brought to life by Equitable and 17 other donors.
The masks and markers will be used once students are allowed back for in-person instruction. Students will create a unique design on their mask. Despite the difficulty of having to wear masks in school, it is important to do so, and my students will have the opportunity to express themselves with this lesson and be encouraged to wear their mask. Designing their mask will show how functional art, or artwork that can be used, is another art medium. This lesson is also current with the times and is geared towards 4 and 5 graders.
