Preparing Kids for the Future From Tech to Art
Funded May 19, 2023Your generosity allowed my students to tap into their creative side with a variety of materials. When kids have the freedom to create, explore and imagine you can move mountains! Because of your donations these sweet children were given opportunities that they would not have had otherwise. Their school family and home families were able to enjoy their work and this generated confidence and help develop a deeper level of motivation within each of them. Thank you again for your support! You continue to change lives with the kindness of your hearts.
We are forever grateful!”

This classroom project was brought to life by SONIC Foundation and 7 other donors.Making Math and Science Fun!
Funded Jun 30, 2022Thank you for giving to our classroom and helping children to have experiences that they would not have been able to experience otherwise!
We live in a world that is full of technology and yet the cost of personal devices for kids is unaffordable for many. We thank you for choosing to help our sweet students get their hands on resources that they could not afford without your help.
Kids learn much better when they experience things. The materials you funded for our class let the kids have hands on learning experience that they will remember for years to come. Their learning will be more solid and more enjoyable as well.
YOU ARE SUPER HEROES!
We love you!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Nikki
This classroom project was brought to life by General Motors and 2 other donors.Changing Lives One Book At A Time!
Funded Jun 9, 2022The students in my class are benefiting greatly from your kind and generous donations!
The books that were purchased for our classroom are used in many ways. Some books are used by me, the teacher, to expose children to quality literature. This gets kids engaged and interested in reading at a young age. It also helps them to develop early reading skills by exposing them to sounds, words, language/vocabulary, and elements of a story. Understanding that words and pictures are connected is another concept that is taught to the students as I read to them and as they explore the books in groups and on their own.
The books that you have donated to our classroom are also used , as mentioned above, by students in small groups or on their own. Students learn to look at pictures to gather information that helps them know what the story is about. Students also use the books to look for letters and sight words that we are working on in class. This helps them to see the importance of learning these skills. It creates excitement in the learners as they begin to recognize things from class instruction inside the cover of a book. It gives meaning to their instruction and gives a hope for the future!
Many students are not read to at home. They do not see the joy that can come from reading. Allowing kids to have opportunities to hear stories and have their hands on books, opens doors for future success and many years of reading pleasure. You will see in our pictures that the children read to book buddies (stuffed animals) this helps build confidence as they learn. Book buddies only listen and do not judge.
Again, thank you for donating. The impact of your donation will last a lifetime.”
