I will use the wobble stools to help my students focus during guided reading groups. Small movements while learning help students stay engaged. I will use the file folders to organize the student work and plans for the upcoming week. Materials for storytelling and drawing will be sent home with students and available at school!
I will use the books to help build community in my classroom and promote unity. Literature for children should be windows and mirrors, meaning that they should be able to identify with characters and also see experiences different than their own. These stories can be read over Zoom and create a sense of normalcy during distance learning.
