Having a diverse collection of my books in my classroom will help them to learn to read and also teach them to love reading. I want my students to feel represented in the books that they read, and I want them to be able to have a large number of books to choose from that are interesting and engaging for them. This is my first year of teaching, so I want to start a collection of books that I can use to teach and inspire students for years to come!
