Funded Aug 9, 2016Dear Donors,
I want to share with you how thankful my students and I are for your support in our donors choose project. The rug you donated for our crews has been so helpful to all of my students, allowing them to keep on moving, dancing, exercising and also been able to sit comfortably in their own spaces while listening during lessons.
The CD collection as well as the fantastic music player, have made our year. The scholars use these items every class almost all session long. They are learning to appreciate music, to stay fit and healthy, they are also learning the practice of yoga, most definitely, memorizing nursery rhymes, and one of the most popular playing instruments while scholars listen to music with our player.
Dancing and movement are of utmost importance in a child's development and a great start to a healthy life, your generosity is bringing endless opportunities for those wonderful practices in our classroom, so we thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts, we couldn't have done it without your help.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Zobeck

Funded Jul 19, 2016Dear Donors,
My scholars and I are so thankful for your generosity. We couldn't have done it without your support. My scholars are riding their tricycles daily while wearing their helmets, practicing safety, conflict resolution and sharing all of our toys in an inclusive and better equipped playground environment.
They consistently create new games to play with our different length jump ropes, at the same time they include, boys and girls, notice and consider their cultural traditions or family songs. I enjoy playing with them and being a facilitator. Honestly, lately I have been more observing rather, they are demonstrating tremendous independence and they are constantly helping each other when taking turns with the tricycles or when putting toys away as their weekly job duty expects.
I remember when they first saw their new toys, they all wanted to try them right away and at the same time, they weren't able to reach too well when using the storage bin and definitely they couldn't buckle the helmets on their own. I am so proud of them all, they have come so far these days.
Our crew as we call our class is working on recognizing the letters of the alphabet and producing their sounds. I am creating a plan where we can incorporate the gross motor practice and literacy out in the playground by making a rally where the scholars can practice recognizing the letters through out the candy land type of path, I am very motivated and excited to continue using my expertise, energy and motivation to provide engaging and enriching experiences for my students!”

Funded Oct 7, 2011This is just a small sign of my sincere gratitude for your generous donations to my classroom. The sand/water table and sand have helped my students in a variety of ways; fostering social, fine and sensory motor skills and every time they use it they understand the concept of taking turns and following the center expectations. We use it during discovery time, Math and Literacy, and it has helped us foster our expeditionary learning model used at our school.
The color pencils and the drying rack have been very helpful and have been used by all of our scholars. They have also helped to improve our scholars craftsmanship and on a daily basis they surprise us with such amazing pictures; this activity is fundamentally essential to promote beginning Literacy skills for our scholars.
The dramatic play games for the kitchen are used during discovery time; students continuously engage in great conversations and life situations with their peers. With this, it has helped progress their executive functioning skills as they play with the ice cream kit daily.
Our program and school is currently facing a budget shortfall, without your help, my scholars would have possibly never had the opportunity to have these amazing resources in the classroom. With donors like you, they will be a step forward as they learn progressive social interaction and are pushed to academic success which will set the foundation for them to succeed in their journey of life.”
