  • Bin-tastic!

    Funded Mar 24, 2022

I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful donation to my classroom. Keeping the room in order has become much easier. My students have enjoyed the new book bins as much as I have. They love going to the reading center because everything is clearly organized and easy to navigate. The students have enjoyed exploring the different genres of books. My students even took their learning to the next level by sorting our books into fiction and nonfiction. Learning has come to life for my students because of people like you.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cangro

  • Nonfiction Fun!

    Funded Oct 14, 2021

Thank you so much for contributing to this project. It was extremely important for me to be able to supply my students with lower-level nonfiction books. Non-fiction is often challenging for students, but providing them with books that are appropriate for them makes all of the difference in their education and ability to complete tasks. I feel so lucky that selfless people like you care about children's educations as much as I do. I look forward to seeing my students progress and grow this year with amazing books.”

  • Home Sweet School

    Funded Sep 8, 2021

Thank you again for donating to this special project. I always strive to have my classroom feel like a second home to my students. The supplies in this project have helped me achieved that look and feel in my classroom. The succulent plants are displayed around the classroom. The pillows and rug are displayed in the library. Students spend time in this area independently reading. It is a quiet and relaxing space for them to read and grow ideas from books. That is always my favorite part of the classroom. Thank you for helping me achieve this!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cangro

  • Back and Better Than Ever!

    Funded Aug 24, 2021

The donations from this project have successfully set up my students to come back to a classroom full of supplies they needed. Even though it has been a difficult transition back to the classroom for many of them after being home for so long, being in a clean and well-prepared environment makes it easier.

Thank you is not enough for me to express my gratitude to people like you who are so selfless and are always giving to make students' lives better. I will continue to do my best to also make positive impacts on children.”

  • Reading Gaps No More!

    Funded Jul 26, 2021

Thank you so much for funding this project. I am ecstatic to share these brand-new books with my new class of students. Many of them have not been to school for over a year and a half and are far below grade level. It will be exciting for all of us to return to school with beautiful new books on their reading levels. I appreciate the ongoing support and love that I receive in each of these projects. They truly make a difference in my student's lives and my ability to give them the best education and materials possible.”

  • Learning Life's Wonders Through Literature

    Funded May 4, 2021

I would like to say thank you for donating to my non-fiction book project. All of the students in my class were able to read and learn about all different topics because of the varying level of books I received. Making sure all students in the class are able to read books appropriate for them not only helps them participate in grade-level learning, but grow and feel confident in their reading skills. My students will use these books for years to come. Thank you again for helping me grow my library and make an impact on my student's reading lives.”

  • An Apple Today Helps Learning Each Day!

    Funded Jan 30, 2021

There are no words to express how thankful I am for everyone who donated to this project. This school year has been one like no other. Technology now plays such a profound role in education and having reliable devices are needed, especially when teaching remote. This iPad will be used by me and my students to engage them in learning whether we are in the classroom or through a computer screen. In school, students can use the iPad to read stories or use learning apps. I will use the iPad to create interactive lessons for students. Thank you again for funding such an important project.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cangro

  • A Reader's Wonderland

    Funded Sep 16, 2020

I would like to start by saying thank you for your generous donations to my series book club project. These books have made a huge impact on the students in my class. These books are not only used during our series book club unit but also in the student's daily reading lives. Every day students shop in the library and are always excited to continue reading books from their series or to start a new one. These books range in all levels and represent a diverse crowd. This allows students to relate to characters and learn from them. Thank you again for contributing to my classroom library and making an impact on my students' reading lives.”

The materials and supplies I am requesting for my class were chosen to ensure that my students can return to school in a safe and supplied environment. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the families of my students have been heavily impacted both financially and emotionally. For those reasons I want to help them ease into the school year by providing these supplies for each of my students. The notebooks and pencils will be used for reading and writing. In writing, students will write persuasive speeches. Thank you for considering my project!
