Summer Fun!
Funded Apr 3, 2023I am very grateful for the support you have given me. Thanks to you, I was able to give my children a little token of appreciation for their hard work through the year. I filled out the buckets not only with the goodies you donated but also with toys and goodies that some parents donated. I passed them out on our last day of school party. My babies had a blast that day. We made a painting project, ate, dance, and finally when it was time to say our goodbyes, I gave them their buckets, with a little note in which I let them know how proud I am of them. They were very happy for their surprise. I hugged and wished everyone a fabulous summer. The project you founded brought a lot of happiness and excitement to my students.”

Funded Sep 7, 2022My students and I are very grateful to you for our new classroom carpet. Our new carpet is used for our whole group instruction. Its graphics, and numbers are very helpful for number counting, number recognition, and shape and color recognition during our math lesson. its words are very helpful when doing our language arts lesson for letter recognition and beginning and ending sound recognition. The kids also enjoy working on the carpet during independent workstations.
When we received our new rug, the students where very excited to help to unfold it. They were very happy to be able to sit on more comfortable. They love to play, dance, roll and even take a nap on the carpet!! This colorful carpet brought new life to our classroom and made a more inviting, organized, and effective learning environment. We love our new carpet and we thank you making it happened.”

Funded Nov 15, 2021Thank you so much for helping me to make learning fun for my Pe-K students. When the materials arrived back in November, my students where very exciting opening and digging through the boxes. Their little faces full of happiness as they took materials out of the boxes made me feel very grateful with all of you for supporting my project. Most of the materials are being used for independent work activities The Learn the Alphabet and Counting Dough Mats are as beneficial as fun for the students who are learning to form letters and numbers as well as working on their fine motor skills. The number puzzles are entertaining and very helpful to differentiate instruction. Each student gets one puzzle according to their level and when they are ready to move on to the next level, they get a more "difficult" puzzle. The "Let's Get Moving! Numbers & Counting Kit "is part of our recess activities. The students get so engaged in the different counting activities that they don't even see it as learning; for them, it is just recess time. The kids love to write on their magnetic boards and now with their Magnetic Write Wipe Erasers, they love it even more. Each student got one magnetic board and eraser; this makes it easier for them (and me) to have access to it at any time so they can practice their writing skills. The patterns blocks and mats are a super fun way for students to enhance different math skills such as their spatial awareness and fine motor skills, patterning, and geometric shapes among others. Like I said it before, every time they use these materials, they are so engaged in "playing" that they don't even notice how much they are learning.
With Teachers Pay Teachers gift card, I was able to get the Spanish version of the Vowels Bingo, rhyming Words Bingo and a Beginning Sounds Bingo. I was also able to get some rhyming, beginning sounds, and syllable game cards for students to practice this skill independently. All these activities are very helpful for the students to enhance their phonological awareness in their first language. These type of activities are very hard to find in regular teacher's stores, for that reason I am extremely grateful for your support.
I really wish you could see my students' little faces when they are using these materials. They are all engaged, lost in their thoughts, and when the "aha!" moment comes, their little faces brighten up. They came to me all happy to let me know what they had just learned; I praise them, and I thank you; I thank you because if it had been for your generous heart, my student would not have had this opportunity.”

Funded Dec 4, 2020Thanks to your support, all students have been able enjoy school during these difficult times. The materials you have funded are being used during our whole group and small group activities. During our whole group activities, every student works on the same learning objective. For example, when we did our unit on measuring every student got at least one set of manipulatives to practice that skill.
For independent work, students have been assigned different materials according to their needs. Since there are different activities such as patterning, counting, measuring, every student gets at least one set of manipulatives to work the skill they need to improve.
Students are very motivated to work independently. What they see as playing, I see it as being engaged in learning.
The materials that you have funded have enable students to engage in the lessons and are allowing me to individualize my instruction according to the student's needs.
I cannot thank you enough for your generous donations!!”

Funded Aug 24, 2020All the supplies were shared among the in-person and virtual students. We use them during our whole group and small group activities. Since all the students have the same manipulatives, every time we have a counting, sorting or patterning activity, is easy for students just to pull out their materials to work with.
For independent work, students have been assigned different materials according to their levels. For example, a student who has difficulty counting works with a 1-10 number puzzle, whereas a student that count o 10, works with 1-20 puzzle, students that know how to count to 20 work with a 1-30 puzzles. The students are very motivated to work independently. What they see as playing, I see it as being engaged in learning.
The materials that you have funded have enable students to engage in the lessons and are allowing me to individualize my instruction according to the student's needs.
I cannot thank you enough for your generous donations!!”
