Kindergarten Writers
Funded Apr 26, 2023These primary writing journals have been a huge help for my kindergarteners. We have been able to start the year off with some good writing habits. We have been using our journals to practice writing our letters, vocabulary words, and even numbers. We have been drawing lots of pictures in them as well.
We love how sturdy and well made these journals are. We are able to use them day after day without any wrinkles or rips. It is so nice to have supplies that we can use every day and not have to worry about ruining them. Thanks again for the donations to make this project happen!”

Play Based Learning
Funded Oct 25, 2022Our Kindergarten class was so excited to open up our boxes and find all new toys and activities for our play-based learning centers. Play centers are one of our favorite activities. Having the materials we need to set up specific centers has been a life-saver!
Our favorite play center is kitchen. Everyone loves cooking up meals, passing out utensils, and feeding the babies. Our new kitchen supplies and materials were a huge hit.
As we continue to through the year our imaginations have grown. We are getting even more use out of some of these play-based learning materials. Building things with our STEM toys is one of our new favorites. It is a great challenge and keeps our brains growing strong!
Thank you so much for your donations to make these play-based learning centers possible! We appreciate it!”

It is true what they say. Kindergarten is where the magic happens. A love for learning is sparked and the adventure begins. Our new hands on learning centers provided us with just that! We were able to explore and really have fun with our learning!
We were super excited when our supplies arrived. Everyone had big smiles on their faces and were ready to dig in and get to work with all our new materials! We have used our new hands on learning center materials and supplies every single day in one way or another to support our learning. Thank you for making this possible!”

I wanted to make sure that my kiddos had some fun new supplies for learning centers. The lack of supplies and materials available for students to use was concern. We created a Donors Choose project and with your help our project was fully funded! My kindergarten kiddos received materials and supplies for our fun new learning centers.

Funded Jan 20, 2021This project has helped us in Kindergarten to get organized and stay that way! We returned to in person learning at the end of January. As you can imagine kiddos were coming back with all kinds of supplies and with COVID, we needed a way to keep our supplies to ourselves. These giant tubs (cubbies as we call them) were perfect! We use our cubbies every single day.
Thank you so much for all of the donations and helping to get our project funded. These cubbies have been the perfect addition to our classroom.”

In Order to Succeed, We Must Read!
Funded Aug 22, 2020Every year in kindergarten we have reading baggies. Our reading baggies consists of leveled readers, sight word readers, and just for fun books. Kindergartners take these reading baggies home every single night to practice their reading. We all know that the more we read, the better readers we become.
With virtual learning going on this year I wasn't sure how I was going to be able to send books home with all my kiddos. This project made that happen! Not only was I able to send books home with all my students, but they were also able to keep these books. They were all surprised and excited to have their own collection of books. We are so thankful for these books and thankful for the donations to make this project happen.”
