  • A Refreshing New Way to Learn!

    Funded Feb 19, 2024

    Thank you so much for your donations to my classroom. This has helped my students focus and learn in small groups and centers around the classroom. The lap desks help them to gather in groups and write sentences as well as have class discussions. It also helped to build a better sense of community in my classroom.

    One of the biggest motivations in my classroom this year was the sticker store. It truly helped to develop a positive environment in my classroom as it was used not only for those who had great achievements in our classroom but who were great examples.

  • A Positive and Healthy Learning Environment

    I just wanted to thank you for your help and support in funding this project. Throughout the school year after acquiring these items, I have been able to enhance my students' learning centers while learning our alphabet and sight words. Having wet erase markers, pencils, and craft sticks have helped to spark my student's yearning to learn in different ways. As we reached our learning goals, I was able to establish our sticker store to help each individual student reach their learning goals and be great examples for each other in the classroom. These positive rewards have helped the students strive to do their best and be great examples for one another. To help maintain a clean learning environment and encourage each child to maintain and be cognizant of their own personal health through the use of cleaning products and face masks.

  • Centers for One and All

    Funded Nov 1, 2022

    These new resources have helped my class as they dive into reading, writing, and exploring math in centers. I was able to organize and provide new activities like domino addition and subtraction centers as well as dice CVC word centers using the laminator sheets and clear sheet protectors.

    We were also able to use the new floor chairs to help promote how fun reading can be no matter where you are. The chairs have been a great way to move centers as well as work with students in small groups no matter where we were in the classroom.

    Unfortunately due to some mailing miscommunication we weren't able to receive the fan like requested, but we did receive the masks and disinfectant wipes. The masks were a great way to promote personal health as my students at times didn't feel well and to help protect them and their classmates would request a mask from the teacher. We were also able to use the disinfectant wipes to help sanitize center areas.

    Thank you so much again for your donation into helping my class with their learning needs as they explored in centers how to read, write, and compute number problems.”

  • Help Us Go the Distance

    I am very grateful for your generous donation to my class during this challenging year. Your donation has helped me to create practice folders for each of my students to work on at home for their handwriting and basic skills that we would have practiced at school in a regular school year. Your donation for TPT had also helped my grade level as we made packets and supplemental work for students of all levels. We were also able to use some of the construction paper and cardstock to help with dioramas for students who were able to come to class.”

The supplies requested are to help students in school and out with distance learning and when the students are allowed back in school. Through Teacher Pays Teachers, I will be able to give students quality activities/work to help supplement/enhance the curriculum we teach at school especially through this time. Due to the pandemic, community supplies in our classroom are restricted to help stop the spread. The folders and worksheets will be used to help create individual folders students can use in and out of school to practice their fine motor skills, handwriting, and math activities.
