Funded Feb 5, 2023Again, I thank you so much for supporting my classroom and helping me fund this project. The STEM and morning bins are truly the best part of my classroom and it couldn't have been done without this support. When other teachers ask my students what they love about my classroom, their response is always the STEM Bins! I am personally not a fan of morning work so morning bins take place of that. I love allowing students to build things and build relationships with their peers. I have seen so much creativity and art work with these bins. When you give students the things they need, they do amazing things!”

Chairs, Chairs, Chairs!
Funded Feb 8, 2023Thank you so much for supporting this project! My students and I really appreciate your help. Flexible seating is something that I am really passionate about and I am so excited to be able to incorporate it into my classroom. Also, I love that I am able to give my students a choice for how they would like to sit for the day. Traditional seating is so old school! Having a bean bag chair in the classroom is inviting, fun, and engaging! Parents and students have told me that the best part of our classroom is the flexible seats! So again, thank you so much!”

Paper, Masks, and Markers. Oh My!
Funded Sep 20, 2022Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and donating money to this project. I will be frank and say that sometimes, especially student wise, school gets a little monotonous and boring! Day after day, it's the same thing over and over again! In my classroom, I don't want my students to be bored, I want them engaged and fully focused everyday! I believe that we need to break up the school day with some fun. One way to do that is with crafts. With this project, I asked for a lot of fun colored construction paper for different crafts we would be making in school. On Martin Luther King Jr Day, we learned a lot about MLK and then made a paper craft of him. The kids were having fun while gluing on his moustache. Thank you so much for allowing my students the chance to be creative and have fun.”

Funded Dec 5, 2022Thank you so much for helping me purchase these TeacherPayTeacher gift cards! With them, I was able to purchase some awesome resources that other teachers have made and I have already started using them with my kids! In second grade, students are still working on phonics and are learning different spelling features. With one of the resources I purchased, the students are able to independently complete interactive slides related to which ever spelling feature they are on. These slides are put into their GoogleClassroom and can be worked on whenever assigned. Thank you again for supporting my classroom.”

Flexible Seating (Part 2)
Funded Aug 9, 2022Again, thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my students buy helping me purchase these flexible seating options. The flexible seating has been truly transformational in my classroom and I don't think I will ever go back to regular seating. The students love coming in every morning and picking their seat for the day. Students who are fidgety, wiggly, and anxious are absolutely thriving in the seats. Parents have sent me messages about how their students love coming to school thanks to the seats.
Again, thank you so much for supporting my classroom and supporting my students.”
